SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. — Stefan Jankovic scored 19 points, hauled in 10 rebounds and Hawaii rolled to a 75-60 win over Cal Poly on Saturday night.

Roderick Bobbitt added 15 points, including three 3-pointers, and Aaron Valdes had 14 points for Hawaii, which shot 52 percent from the field to hand Cal Poly its fourth straight loss.

Hawaii (18-3, 7-1 Big West) opened the second half with a 3-pointer from Bobbitt to take the lead for good, 31-28, and spark a 9-0 run that also included a trey from Valdes. Jankovic’s 3 late in the second half extended the advantage to 56-45 and the Rainbow Warriors protected the double-digit advantage the rest of the way.

Reese Morgan led Cal Poly (8-14, 2-7) with 10 points.

The win marked the first time in program history Hawaii has won its first four conference road games.

UCLA downs UH

A Honolulu native came back to haunt the Rainbow Warriors, who saw their 17-home match winning streak fall in five-set loss – 22-25, 25-22, 19-25, 25-18, 15-9 – to top-ranked UCLA in Honolulu

Punahou grad Micah Maa finished with 18 kills, 23 assists, six blocks and a hit .500 as the Bruins (11-1, 7-1 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation) rebounded from a loss to a night earlier at Stan Sheriff Center and ended a streak of five consecutive losses to UH.

Sinisa Zarkovic led Hawaii (9-2, 4-2) with 20 kills.

Wahine win

Destiny King scored 17 points with eight rebounds and Ashleigh Karaitiana drained a 3-pointer with 14-seconds left as Hawaii (14-9, 7-3 Big West) came back to beat UC Santa Barbara (8-15, 5-4) 63-62.
